With deep gold to reddish amber color and a strong hop aroma backed by big malty notes, this ale seems to be a cross between an altbier and an IPA. The maltiness is clean and the hop flavor and aroma are at IPA levels, but the hop bitterness is subdued and the body is less full, like a Dusseldorf-style alt.
