Selected at Wye College, England in 1919, Brewers Gold is an English variety and ancestor to many major high alpha hops grown today, including Sterling, Galena, Horizon, Centennial and Nugget. American-grown Brewers Gold contains higher levels of alpha acids than its English counterpart. Spicy and fruity.
